Spirit...Vision...God

I am beginning to understand why God sent me to serve at Journey Church of Acworth. We had an amazing time of worship, insight, and vision casting last night. Have you ever heard something from God and then wondered how it was suppose to apply to your life? I have, and last night confirms what I heard many years ago. When I was 20 years old I felt that God told me to leave the church I had always known and that he had a higher calling on my life than to sit on a pew. He also said that I would be a part of something big and not to be afraid because of my age. Amazing! I am now in a place of leadership in a growing, life-giving church. Pastor said, "This church's success in seeing souls brought to Jesus falls on YOU." That's a bold statement I've never heard before, but its so true. If one person's not on the same page, the whole church can stumble and fall because of it. Where two or more as gathered in his name, he will be there. If two are gathered in his name and another is there for his own agenda, it will fall apart.

Spirit-lead. What does this mean? I think its more than just lead by the spirit; it's constantly seeking him. Constantly thinking about what his will is. Constantly doing his will for your life.

Vision-lead. Vision by definition in webster's dictionary is: mode of seeing or conceiving: unusual
discernment or foresight. God gives his children vision of his plan for their lives.

A company is only as strong as it's weakest link. The amazing thing about God is that there isn't a weakest link, only pure and perfect...perfection. We are imperfect people, so we should just let a perfect God completely consume our lives.
